8 Mar 1702—13 Jul 1713: Queen Anne's War Queen Anne's War broke out in 1702 and was primarily a conflict between French, Spanish and English colonists for control of the North American continent while the War of the Spanish Succession was being fought in Europe. Each side was allied with various Indigenous communities.
