Richard and Ursula (Scott) Kimball, along with 7 of their children, Ursula's mother Martha (Whatlock or Whylok) Scott and Thomas, her brother emigrated on the Elizabeth of Ipswich in 1634, settling first in Watertown on a lot situated near what is now the corner of Huron avenue and Appleton street, and near springs of water. In 1636 or 37 they moved to Ipswich where they were in need of a wheelwright, which was Richard's profession (maker of wheels).
Richard and Ursula had 11 children. We are descended through 4 lines on the Wright (Tucker) side through their daughters Abigail and Sarah.
