    Notes:

    Very little is known about Abraham and Abigail Margaret (Gifford) Temple. They were married before 1623 in England and had 5 children. They were in Salem in 1636 where he was granted ten acres, a relatively small grant. Robert, our ancestor, was the only one of their children born in America. Abraham dropped out of public records after 1639, so it is likely he had died. Abigail Margaret died sometime after 1651.
