William's brother, John, died with no issue, so his vast properties in "Witdecombe, Bowrenhenton, Cote, Lymborough, in the parish of Martock, Kyngsbury, Draton, Fyvehed, Crukhorne, Graynton, Edyngton, Langportestover; Langportweston, Southwike and From Selwood" were to go to John's wife Alice;  but if she re-married or died, the lands would go to William. If William died with no heirs then the properties would go to John Sherewill, Walter Pole, and Thomas Wareham, who were cousins.
