It is possible this is this John. In the Kittery records we find: "Mary, dau. of John Hoyt and Sarah his wife, born May 2, 1697;" also 50 acres land granted to John Hoyt, May 1699. George Brown deeds to John Hoite of Kittery, York Co, house and land in Dover, Feb 1702-3, and, at the same time, John Hoyt and his wife Sarah of Kittery deed land in Kittery to George Brown of Bloody Point of John Downing.
