The Emery Family

From the Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire.

1.       Anthony Emery. He was born in Romsey Hants, England, where he lived until April 1635 when he sailed in the ship James from Southampton. A Quaker, he first settled in New Brunswick. In 1650 he moved to Dover and by 1651 was in Cold Harbour, Kittery, Maine. He had a license to sell beer and wine”.
